I don't think that USB Drive Creator offers any compelling benefits over Unetbootin UNLESS you really want the "persistence" feature. The most likely problem is that something has gone wrong in the download process, but more detail about your system would be helpful in assessing the options for fixing the problem (as suggested by a previous contributor). To manually remove a Linux installation, you will have to restore the Windows bootloader using 'fixmbr' from a recovery CD, and use Parted Magic to delete the Linux partition and expand the Windows partition. Its even better with the Platform for easy installs and automatic updates. Uninstalling UNetbootin simply removes the UNetbootin entry from your boot menu if you installed an operating system to a partition using UNetbootin, removing UNetbootin will not remove the OS. Incidentally, 2GB flash drives are more or less being given away with the breakfast cereal at my local computer "supermarkets" - around $AUD 5 seems typical. UNetbootin Portable can run from a cloud folder, external drive, or local folder without installing into Windows. While the process should certainly work, I haven't personally tried it (it's easier to verify the integrity of the ISO when you download it directly - and, of course, verification is automatic if you use Torrent). Does unetbootin have any possibility of yum installation from repo (rather than rpm) I search the forum, but alas no help found. I assume that you are using Unetbootin to download the distribution directly and proceed straight to installation.
